Membership in the Global Collaborative is open to accredited universities in the US and abroad. Membership is free and membership can be cancelled at any time so long as students currently in the program are able to finish without penalty.

U.S. members can choose which programs they want to include in their profile and not include others which may conflict with existing programs of have little academic support on your campus. Program brochures and web pages will be created for each of the Collaborative programs selected.  Brochures of a university’s existing programs can also be created so a unified brochure style is obtained.  The Collaborative will assist with basic training on how to utilize the Abroad Office database, track correspondence and application materials.

Universities abroad are selected based on their academic quality, levels of student service, location and financial incentives given to Collaborative members. Universities abroad are expected to assist with web page and brochure development and maintenance.  Partners abroad may have the ability to contact students early in the application process to assist with the matriculation of the student into the program.

Financial incentives given by the universities abroad are returned to the Collaborative members based on the number of students sent to a particular program. A percentage to the incentive is retained by the Collaborative as an administrative fee.
